'Magic of Bali' on display

JAKARTA (JP): Well-known Canadian artists Marsha Stonehouse is
opening an exhibition of paintings from her "magical Island of
Bali' series at the Regent Hotel Jakarta.

The display opened yesterday is sponsored by new insurance
joint venture Modern Sun Life.

Stonehouse said the series represents her own journey into the
mysticism of Indonesia's magical isle.

"Bali is like a living theater. Fantasy and reality are
interwoven so that the people literally live out their
mythology," she said.
