The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has integrated the national internship service MagangHub with the KarirHub platform. The integration aims to widen labour absorption for alumni of internship programmes. The Minister of Manpower Yassierli said the move is achieved through the transition of MagangHub’s digital services to KarirHub, which sits within the SIAPkerja ecosystem. ‘Through the transition, internship alumni will no longer merely complete learning programmes at the company. They will be guided directly into the fully integrated labour market platform with thousands of trusted job openings,’ Yassierli said in a press release received by Kompas.com on Saturday, 23 May 2026. The platform’s job-matching system will then align users’ competencies with the needs of recruiting employers. Kemnaker also integrated KarirHub with a number of private job portals, such as Glints, JobStreet, Kalibrr, and KitaLulus. Yassierli said that internship experience is a value-add for job seekers as it can boost young talents’ chances of being noticed by employers. Users will need to register an account, complete their profile, select their job interests, upload a résumé or CV, and include experience from the MagangHub programme. Once the profile is complete, users can immediately search for and apply to the vacancies available on the platform. Yassierli emphasised that the internship programme is the starting point of participants’ careers before entering the world of work.
