The second wave of Indonesian hajj pilgrims’ return continues. Kloter 15 LOP from Sector 5 Madinah departed for Amir Muhammad bin Abdul Aziz (AMAA) Airport on Saturday morning (20/6/2026). The departure was conducted by Hajj Organising Committee (PPIH) officers and attended by the Head of the Madinah Working Area 2026, Dr Khalilurrahman. Khalilurrahman stated that pilgrims from hotels in Madinah were dispatched to the airport according to schedule, after ensuring there was no congestion at the airport. “Alhamdulillah, the returning pilgrims have received services during their stay in Madinah, including consumption, transportation, and accommodation services,” Khalilurrahman told the Hajj Media Centre after seeing off the pilgrims. He added that all LOP 15 pilgrims had completed the obligatory ziyarah series. “Most importantly, they have all visited Raudhah Asy-Syarif and also visited the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad shallallahu ’alaihi wasallam,” he said. The Head of the Madinah Working Area appreciated the discipline of the hajj pilgrims in this second wave. Based on field observations, pilgrims were orderly when visiting Raudhah and followed the directions of kloter officers, sector officers, and Nabawi Special Section officers. “Alhamdulillah, this second wave is extraordinary. The pilgrims conducted their visit to Raudhah in an orderly, neat, coordinated manner, and without jostling,” he remarked. Discipline was also evident ahead of departure. Pilgrims were deemed compliant with the prohibition on baggage items in accordance with civil aviation regulations conveyed by the airline and hajj officers.
