MAB Solarky Sun V: Complete Specifications

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – MAB Solarky has entered the market as a compact electric vehicle with a unique concept that combines battery power and solar panels. Designed for urban mobility needs, this micro SUV features a compact size and efficient energy consumption. When solar panels are installed, the vehicle’s height reaches 1,700 mm. It has a wheelbase of 2,070 mm and a ground clearance of 190 mm. For performance, the Solarky is equipped with a 15 kW electric motor (equivalent to 20.1 PS) and a maximum torque of 85 Nm. Its top speed is 80 km/h, with 0-50 km/h acceleration achieved in six seconds. In full charge, the claimed range is 151 km based on NEDC testing. The Solarky’s main advantage lies in its solar panels, which can provide an additional daily range of up to 55 km. The solar panels cover an area of 3.2 square metres with an energy consumption of approximately 6.6 kWh per 100 km. To enhance comfort, the Solarky features a 10.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth hands-free phone, keyless start, rear parking camera, rear parking sensors, and SuperEco and Normal driving modes. The interior features synthetic leather seats with a sporty design. Front seats are four-way adjustable, while the rear seats can be folded to increase boot capacity from 70 to 800 litres. In terms of safety and utility, it is equipped with a regenerative braking system, low-speed alert, warning triangle, safety vest, and tire repair sealant.
