The Jakarta Post, Jakarta

A sizzling nine birdies, four of them in a row, and a single bogey for a round of 64 shot Maan Naasim from the Sawangan Golf Club to a tie at the top of the leaderboard after Thursday's third round of the Pemuda Pancasila Cup IV at the Matoa Nasional Golf Club at Ciganjur, South Jakarta.

Maan, who entered the day in joint 10th place, now sits at 11- under 205, tied with I Ketut Sugiartha from Atlantic Golf Management, who shot a 69 on Thursday.

Overnight leader Dana Mahmud, who controlled the tournament for the first two rounds, shot a disappointing 74 (38 36) on Thursday and tumbled to joint sixth with a total 8-under 208 (66 68 74).

Sitting one stroke behind the leaders are Ilyassyak from Damai Indah Golf and Stephen A. Lindskog at 10-under 206. Ilyassyak shot an impressive 67 in the third round. He was matched by Lindskog, who had birdies on the 2nd, 3rd, 10th, 11th and 18th holes and no bogeys.

Alone in fourth place is Sudihartono from ATL with a 9-under 207 (69 68 70). His round of 70 on Thursday was made up of four birdies and two bogeys.

From China he is scheduled to play in Taiwan, Hong Kong and concluding in Malaysia, with no less than US$120,000 on offer at each event.
