Lunar New Year Installations Light Up Streets in Solo

Solo (ANTARA) - Ahead of the Lunar New Year, a number of Chinese New Year-themed installations have lit up the streets of Solo, Central Java Province, adding to the festive atmosphere of the celebrations.

Along the road from City Hall to Pasar Gede in Solo, lantern decorations in various shapes and colours have been put up to enliven the Lunar New Year celebrations.

A number of residents were seen riding boats on a river decorated with lanterns during the Lunar New Year Lantern Festival at Solo City Hall in Solo, Central Java Province, on 13 February 2026.
