Jakarta — The Traffic Directorate of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police has suspended the odd-even traffic scheme in DKI Jakarta from today until tomorrow. The odd-even policy is not in effect due to the Lunar New Year holiday.

The suspension was announced directly by the police through the Instagram account @tmcpoldametro on Monday (16/2/2026). The odd-even scheme will be suspended today through Tuesday (17/2).

“Dear road users, in connection with Chinese New Year 2577 Kongzili, the odd-even system in DKI Jakarta will not be enforced,” wrote the TMC Polda Metro Jaya.

The suspension is based on regulations stipulated in the DKI Jakarta Governor’s Regulation and the Joint Decree of Three Ministers on Amendments to National Holidays and Collective Leave for 2025.

“This provision refers to DKI Jakarta Governor’s Regulation No. 88 of 2019, Article 3, Paragraph 3,” the TMC Polda Metro Jaya added.
