Lululemon Case at Soekarno-Hatta Airport: InJourney Confirms Perpetrator Was Not an Airport Employee

The clarification was made following the disclosure of a case involving the theft of exported goods by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, which came to light on Friday (15/5).

“We would like to state that the perpetrator who has been apprehended is not an employee of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports) at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport branch,” said Assistant Deputy for Communication & Legal at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport branch, Yudistiawan, in a statement on Friday (15/5/2026).

“InJourney Airports requests that all workers in all companies or entities within the airport area always comply with regulations, refrain from violating the law, and work together to maintain the good name of Soekarno-Hatta Airport,” Yudistiawan added.

Furthermore, Yudistiawan stated that Soekarno-Hatta International Airport fully supports law enforcement processes within the airport environment, including those related to this cargo service case.

“The management of Soekarno-Hatta Airport is always in coordination with the Soekarno-Hatta Police, and we will provide the necessary assistance and support for this case until it is resolved,” said Yudistiawan.

In addition, the management of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is committed to continuously maintaining the security, safety, and operational integrity of the airport, including logistics and cargo activities, by strengthening supervision and coordination with all stakeholders to ensure that airport operations remain safe, orderly, and smooth.
