Luluk, Alven take Korea Open title

Indonesian pair Luluk Hadiyanto and Alven Yulianto won the title in the Korea Open tournament after they upset seventh seeds Sang Yang/Zheng Bo of China 15-12, 15-12 in the men's doubles final on Sunday.
The unseeded Luluk/Alven needed 45 minutes to beat the Chinese pair, who had earlier bested another Indonesian double and sixth seeds, Flandy Limpele/Eng Hian 15-10, 15-8 in Saturday's semifinals.
In the men's singles final, third seed Xia Xuanze of China beat compatriot top seed Chen Hong 15-13, 15-4 to take the title, the tournament website reported.
Chinese shuttlers continued dominating the championships as Xia's compatriot, third seed Zhang Ning outplayed eighth seed host Jun Jae-youn 11-6, 11-5 in the women's singles final.
Earlier, Zhang conquered top seed Gong Ruina of China 11-7, 11-3 within only 17 minutes in the semifinals.
The Chinese also took the women's doubles title when second seeds Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen triumphed over host players and third seeds Ra Kyung-min/Lee Kyung-won 15-8, 9-15, 15-6 in one hour 32 minutes.
The host players have to be content with only one title in the mixed doubles, as top seeds Kim Dong-moon/Ra Kyung-min overwhelmed second seeds Kim Yong-hyun/Lee Hyo-jung 15-5, 15-11 in an all-Korea final.
