Luis Figo Featured in Trading Card Game Collection

Jakarta (ANTARA) — Portuguese football legend Luis Figo has been featured in a trading card game (TCG) collection at Jakarta Game On, an event organised by the Jakarta Capital City Tourism and Creative Economy Office in Jakarta on Sunday.

The card featuring the former Real Madrid player is part of the culmination of HGI’s Pesta Bola, which took place on 12 July.

“Pesta Bola HGI was a very memorable moment for the community and fans. With this collector’s card, we want to preserve the spirit of that moment in something people can own, collect and make part of their gaming experience,” HGI Country Lead Ray Fan said in an official statement on Sunday.

The card depicting the iconic Portugal international features holographic accents, a reproduction of Figo’s signature, and a unique edition and serial number.

Players can obtain one by completing the progress requirements in the latest feature, Jejak Legenda (Legendary Trail).

Once they have received the physical card, players can enter its serial number on the Collection page in the HGI app. The card will then appear in their digital collection after verification.

In this feature, certain serial numbers on the cards will also play a role in the game mechanics, adding to the excitement for players collecting them.

“HGI will turn eight this November. Over that time, we have grown alongside players who come to relax, play and enjoy their leisure time. That is how the community formed and developed,” Ray concluded.
