Lucky confirms MSME involvement in 2026 Jakarta Triathlon

The Head of Marketing and Attractions at the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf), Lucky Wulandari, has confirmed that micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will be involved in the 2026 Jakarta Triathlon. She stated that the MSMEs participating in the event are under the guidance of Disparekraf through the Jakarta Entrepreneur (Jakpreneur) programme. In addition to members of the Jakpreneur programme, MSMEs managed by Ancol, the venue for the event, will also be involved. ‘There will be food and beverage, then handmade goods and others. They will be involved in the bazaars at the Jakarta Triathlon, and certainly the MSMEs under Ancol’s management,’ Lucky explained. The multi-sport event, combining swimming, cycling, and running, will take place on 13 September 2026 at the Taman Impian Jaya Ancol area in Jakarta, as part of the celebrations for the 5th Centenary of Jakarta City. Beyond being a sporting competition, the Jakarta Triathlon 2026 has the strategic goal of strengthening the sports and tourism ecosystem in the capital. The event is expected to increase tourist visits, drive growth in the tourism and creative economy sectors, and deliver a positive economic impact for the community through the strengthening of sport tourism.
