Lubuk Linggau Police Clean Mosque in Community Outreach Programme

The South Sumatra Regional Police are strengthening their humanistic approach through the BELIDA (Clean and Beautiful Environment) Programme, which is being implemented continuously across all jurisdictions. On this occasion, the Lubuk Linggau Police carried out a community service activity to clean the Nurul Falah Mosque in Tanjung Indah Subdistrict, West Lubuk Linggau I District, Lubuk Linggau City. The activity was led directly by Lubuk Linggau Police Chief AKBP Adithia Bagus Arjunadi, involving 25 personnel together with the Lubuk Linggau Police Community Guidance Unit. The personnel worked together to clean the interior and exterior areas of the mosque to create a clean, comfortable, and pleasant environment for worshippers. The BELIDA Programme is a form of implementation of the Precision Police concept, which prioritises service to the community through concrete actions beyond law enforcement duties. The presence of police personnel in social activities is expected to further strengthen relations with the community while building a culture of mutual cooperation in maintaining public facilities and the environment. In addition to creating comfort for worshippers, this activity also strengthens the synergy between the police and the community in maintaining environmental cleanliness as part of efforts to build security and public order stability. A clean and well-maintained environment is one of the supporting factors for creating a healthy, harmonious, and conducive community life. Lubuk Linggau Police Chief AKBP Adithia Bagus Arjunadi stated that the BELIDA Programme is a form of the police’s concern for the community through concrete actions that are directly felt. ‘The police are present not only to maintain security and enforce the law, but also through social activities that provide direct benefits to the community. Hopefully, this activity will further strengthen the relationship between the police and residents and foster a spirit of mutual cooperation in maintaining environmental cleanliness,’ said AKBP Adithia. Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Police, Commissioner Nandang Mu’min Wijaya, emphasised that the BELIDA Programme is part of the South Sumatra Police’s commitment to continuously providing humanistic and impactful services. ‘The BELIDA Programme is one form of the police’s presence in the community. Through simple yet beneficial activities such as cleaning places of worship, we want to build closeness, strengthen social awareness, and invite all elements of society to work together to maintain a clean, healthy, and conducive environment,’ said Commissioner Nandang.
