Lubuk Linggau Police Clean Mosque in Community Outreach Programme
The South Sumatra Regional Police are reinforcing their humanistic approach through the BELIDA (Clean and Beautiful Environment) Programme, implemented continuously across their territorial units.
On this occasion, the Lubuk Linggau Police held a communal work activity to clean Nurul Falah Mosque in Tanjung Indah Subdistrict, West Lubuk Linggau I District, Lubuk Linggau City.
The activity was led directly by the Lubuk Linggau Police Chief AKBP Adithia Bagus Arjunadi, involving 25 personnel together with the Religious Affairs Security Section (Satbinmas) of the Lubuk Linggau Police. The personnel worked together to clean the interior and exterior of the mosque in order to create a clean, comfortable and pleasant environment for worshippers.
The BELIDA Programme is one form of implementing Polri Presisi, which prioritises public service through concrete action beyond law enforcement duties. The presence of National Police personnel in social activities is expected to further strengthen relations with the community whilst building a culture of mutual cooperation in maintaining public facilities and the environment.
Beyond creating comfort for worshippers, the activity also strengthens synergy between the National Police and the community in maintaining environmental cleanliness as part of efforts to build public security and order (kamtibmas). A clean and well-maintained environment is one of the supporting factors in creating a healthy, harmonious and conducive community life.
The Lubuk Linggau Police Chief, AKBP Adithia Bagus Arjunadi, said the BELIDA Programme is a form of police care for the community through concrete action whose benefits are felt directly.
“The National Police are present not only to maintain security and enforce the law, but also through social activities that provide direct benefits to the community. Hopefully this activity will further strengthen the relationship between the police and residents, as well as foster the spirit of mutual cooperation in keeping the environment clean,” said AKBP Adithia in a written statement on Monday (13 July 2026).
The Head of Public Relations for South Sumatra Regional Police, Kombes Pol Nandang Mu’min Wijaya, affirmed that the BELIDA Programme is part of the regional police’s commitment to continuously providing humanistic services with real impact.
“The BELIDA Programme is one form of police presence among the community. Through simple yet beneficial activities such as cleaning places of worship, we want to build closeness, strengthen social care, and invite all elements of society to work together in maintaining a clean, healthy and conducive environment,” said Kombes Pol Nandang Mu’min Wijaya.
The South Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, continues to encourage all personnel to present various social programmes that deliver tangible benefits to the community. Through the BELIDA Programme, the South Sumatra Regional Police affirm that the National Police not only safeguard security but are also present as partners of the community in building a clean, healthy and harmonious environment, further strengthening the spirit of togetherness in the Land of Sriwijaya.
