JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The low sport utility vehicle (LSUV) segment, or affordable SUVs, showed intriguing dynamics in February 2026. According to data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), LSUV wholesales in February 2026 reached 7,046 units. This figure grew by around 40.1 percent month-on-month, compared to January 2026’s 5,028 units. From a model perspective, the Toyota Rush remains the market leader in the LSUV segment with sales of 3,478 units, surging from 2,345 units in January, or a growth of around 48.3 percent. Meanwhile, the Suzuki XL7 sits in third place with 1,142 units, also experiencing a significant increase compared to January’s 786 units, or growth of around 45.3 percent. The Mitsubishi Xpander Cross follows in fourth place with 848 units, up from 645 units, or around 31.5 percent. Then, the Hyundai Stargazer X recorded 222 units, an increase from 177 units, or up around 25.4 percent. Meanwhile, the Honda BR-V remained relatively stagnant with 87 units, slightly down from January’s 89 units. The Citroen C3 Aircross was recorded as stable at 40 units with no change.
