LSP UBSI Secures Relicensing Certificate Valid Until 2031

The Professional Certification Institute (LSP) of Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI) has officially obtained a Relicensing Certificate from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). The certificate marks the extension of LSP UBSI’s licence validity for the next five years, until 17 July 2031. This licence extension signifies that LSP UBSI is deemed to have consistently met the competency certification implementation standards set by BNSP. The achievement also strengthens the institution’s commitment to maintaining professional and credible certification service quality. The relicensing process was conducted through a series of evaluations covering various aspects, ranging from institutional management, resource management, certification instruments, competency assessors, Competency Test Venues (TUK), to the implementation of competency certification. All these stages aim to ensure LSP UBSI is capable of carrying out the certification process in accordance with applicable regulations, thereby ensuring the certification services provided continue to meet national quality standards. Director of LSP UBSI, Firmansyah, stated that obtaining the Relicensing Certificate represents a form of trust that must be maintained through continuous quality improvement. ‘This relicensing certificate is proof that LSP UBSI is able to meet the requirements and standards set by BNSP. Going forward, we will continue to improve quality so that the implementation of competency certification becomes increasingly professional, credible, and provides broader benefits for all stakeholders,’ Firmansyah said in an official statement in Jakarta on Thursday (6/8/2026). He explained that with the receipt of the certificate, LSP UBSI has once again been entrusted to organise competency certification for the next five years. According to him, the licence extension is also a momentum to improve service quality while expanding contributions in supporting the recognition of student and lecturer competencies. ‘The success of this relicensing cannot be separated from the support of various parties within the UBSI environment, from the rectorate leadership, LSP management, competency assessors, scheme committees, TUK managers, to all parties involved in the implementation of certification,’ Firmansyah said. With the licence now valid until 17 July 2031, Firmansyah affirmed LSP UBSI’s commitment to continuously providing professional, reliable professional certification services oriented towards improving human resource competencies. ‘The sustainability of certification implementation quality is expected to support the emergence of graduates and educators who possess competencies aligned with the future needs of the workforce,’ Firmansyah concluded.
