LSP UBSI Holds 7th RCC Batch to Strengthen Assessor Quality

The Professional Certification Body (LSP) of Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI) held the 7th batch of the Recognition Competency Certification (RCC) to refresh the understanding and competence of assessors. The event, which took place at Wisma BSI Kaliabang, Bekasi, on Friday (11/09/2026), was attended by 32 LSP UBSI competency assessors.

The 7th RCC batch discussed regulations, policies, procedures, and the implementation of competency assessments in accordance with applicable standards. Participants also had the opportunity to exchange experiences, engage in discussions, and address several cases related to the assessment process.

The event featured Master Assessor Benny Timbul Parningotan as the coordinator, alongside Surono and Galih Adhi Kusuma as keynote speakers.

LSP UBSI Director Firmansyah stated that increasing assessor competence is essential to maintaining the quality of the certification process.

“Assessors play a very strategic role in ensuring that the assessment process runs objectively, consistently, and in accordance with applicable regulations. Through this 7th RCC batch, we hope that assessors can continue to enhance their competence while strengthening their professionalism in performing their duties,” Firmansyah said in a written statement received in Jakarta on Friday (11/09/2026).

Through the RCC, LSP UBSI aims to refresh insights and standardise perceptions among assessors. This is expected to support the implementation of competency assessments that are consistent and adhere to established standards.
