LSI Survey Reveals Secrets Behind Dedi Mulyadi's 95.4 Percent Approval Rating
The people of West Java are 84 per cent connected to the internet, and most use it through social media. The public’s positive evaluation of KDM is also influenced by the positive content conveyed by Dedi Mulyadi almost every day.
Bandung (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) has stated that the high level of public satisfaction with West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi (KDM) is influenced by his government’s performance, communication style, and use of social media.
LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan, speaking in Bandung on Thursday, said internet penetration in West Java, which has reached 84 per cent, means Dedi Mulyadi’s social media content has also helped shape positive public perception.
“The people of West Java are 84 per cent connected to the internet, and most use it through social media. The public’s positive evaluation of KDM is also influenced by the positive content conveyed by Dedi Mulyadi almost every day,” said Djayadi.
“This governor is one of those who is extremely popular among the public; his popularity reaches almost 100 per cent. His communication style is considered very down-to-earth and carries a human touch towards people’s everyday lives,” he added.
Djayadi further noted that the survey did not quantify the contribution of each factor to the level of public satisfaction. However, the figure of the regional head and the implementation of government programmes are the two most prominent aspects.
“The figure factor and the programme factor, judging from the survey in West Java, are indeed two very prominent factors influencing the public’s positive evaluation of the West Java Governor,” he said.
