Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) is preparing commissioning tests for the Jakarta LRT Phase 1B line from Velodrome to Manggarai after Lebaran (Eid al-Fitr). The 6.4-kilometre route is targeted to begin official operations in August 2026.

Jakpro President Director Iwan Takwin said Phase 1B remains on schedule. The company is focusing on completing the construction while preparing for the operational phase.

“Yes, indeed for LRT 1B we are targeting it according to the timeline; in August, God willing, it will operate officially,” Iwan told media on Friday (6 March 2026).

He added that the company is also preparing the commissioning process, i.e., operational trials for the line. This phase is planned to commence after Lebaran alongside finalisation of the licensing process.

“Now we are starting; after Lebaran we will start the commissioning tests, and in parallel we will complete the obligations for operating licences and submit them to the Ministry of Transport (Kemenhub),” Iwan said.

Meanwhile, LRT Jakarta Project Director Ramdani Akbar said the new line will have five stations: Pemuda Rawamangun, Pramuka BPKP, Pasar Pramuka, Matraman, and Manggarai. Each station is projected to be integrated with other transport modes such as Transjakarta, KRL, and the Airport Rail Link (Kereta Bandara).
