Public transport usage in the Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi (Bodebek) area continues to rise. LRT Jabodebek has even set a record for monthly users in its nearly three years of operation.

In July 2026, LRT Jabodebek served 3,060,436 users. This figure is the highest monthly passenger count since the light rail service began operating in August 2023.

The increase in users is also reflected in the cumulative journeys so far this year. In the period from 1 January to 31 July 2026, LRT Jabodebek served 19,079,347 users.

This figure represents an increase of around 21% compared with the same period last year, which recorded 15,772,638 users. This means there were approximately 3.31 million additional users in the first seven months of 2026.

Among the stations serving LRT Jabodebek journeys, Harjamukti Station was the point with the highest number of users during July 2026. The station, located in the Depok area, recorded 705,475 users.

After Harjamukti, the next highest user numbers were recorded at West Bekasi Station with 358,225 users, followed by Cikunir 1 Station with 345,055 users and Jatimulya Station with 330,721 users.

“With the achievement of 3 million LRT Jabodebek users in July 2026, this is the highest figure ahead of three years of operation,” said LRT Jabodebek Public Relations Manager Radhitya Mardika on Friday (21/8/26).

The increase in passenger numbers shows that more people are choosing the LRT to support their daily mobility.

“User growth is a motivation to continue improving service quality and delivering innovations relevant to user needs, while continuing to prioritise safety,” said Radhitya.
