LRT Jabodebek Maximum Fare Set at Rp10,000 During Ramadan Holiday Period 18-24 March
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has set a maximum fare of Rp10,000 for the LRT Jabodebek during the extended holiday period from 18-24 March 2026. The policy aims to support public mobility across the Greater Jakarta region during the national holiday period, when travel activity typically increases as people visit relatives and spend time with family.
Public Relations Manager for LRT Jabodebek Radhitya Mardika stated that during this period, LRT Jabodebek will operate 270 trips daily to ensure public transport services remain available for commuters.
“Through this fare policy, KAI encourages the public to utilise safe, comfortable, and efficient public transport during the extended holiday period, whether for visiting relatives, recreation, or other activities,” he said.
LRT Jabodebek serves as a key transport option due to its integration with various other transport modes. With seamless multimodal connectivity, LRT Jabodebek enables passengers to continue their journeys to various destinations via Airport Train, KRL Commuter Line, Whoosh High-Speed Train, Transjakarta, and access to Kampung Rambutan Terminal.
Additionally, LRT Jabodebek provides convenient access to several activity centres and popular destinations, including Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), shopping malls, and various commercial and community activity hubs across the Greater Jakarta area.
KAI is committed to maintaining optimal LRT Jabodebek operations throughout the extended holiday period to provide a reliable public transport alternative amid increased public mobility.
“LRT Jabodebek is here to provide travel certainty for the public, particularly during extended holiday periods when public mobility increases,” Radhitya concluded.
