LRT Jabodebek Fare Only Rp 1 During Eid

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI is implementing a Rp 1 fare for LRT Jabodebek services (covering Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi) on the first and second days of Eid. KAI President Director Bobby Rasyidin stated that this fare applies to all routes. This measure is seen as KAI’s commitment to providing affordable public transport services during the Eid holiday. “KAI wants to bring a pleasant surprise while encouraging more people to utilise safe, comfortable, and integrated public transport,” Bobby said in a written statement on Thursday, 19 March 2026. The Rp 1 fare is expected to increase public interest in using the LRT during the Eid holiday, which is anticipated to see high travel activity. Thus, people can take advantage of it to meet family or travel to various destinations. Bobby said that LRT Jabodebek management has optimised the presence of security, health, and service personnel at stations and on trains. In addition, arrangements for passenger density in platform areas, entry gates, and potential congestion points have been made, with special attention to priority customers. “This special fare policy is expected to add value for LRT Jabodebek customers during Eid while strengthening the role of public transport as an urban mobility solution,” he said. To anticipate crowds, KAI has prepared a comprehensive ticketing system, from fare arrangements and gate readiness to sales channels. KAI is also preparing additional operations, such as setting up Eid posts and implementing weekend operation patterns.
