LRT Jabodebek Extends Service Until Midnight on 17 August

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) is extending LRT Jabodebek services on the 81st anniversary of Indonesian independence, Monday (17/8). Journeys from Dukuh Atas Bank Syariah Indonesia Station towards Jati Mulya and Harjamukti will be served until past midnight to accommodate public mobility during the Independence Day celebrations.

On 17 August 2026, LRT Jabodebek will operate 430 trips with a weekday operating pattern. On the same day, the public can enjoy a special fare of Rp8 for LRT Jabodebek journeys. Passengers are also permitted to bring non-folding bicycles onto the trains in accordance with applicable regulations.

The first and last LRT Jabodebek journey schedules on 17 August 2026 are as follows:

Departures at 00.30 and 00.34 WIB are journeys that take place after the change of day, namely Tuesday (18/8).

Manager of Public Relations for LRT Jabodebek, Radhitya Mardika, said that the service extension was carried out to accommodate the mobility of people participating in various activities celebrating the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia while continuing to use safe, comfortable and integrated public transport.

“On 17 August, LRT Jabodebek is extending journey services from Dukuh Atas Bank Syariah Indonesia Station until past midnight to accommodate the public’s mobility needs after participating in various Independence Day celebration activities. The public is urged to pay attention to the last journey schedule according to the direction of LRT Jabodebek travel so that they can plan their journeys well,” he said.

Furthermore, KAI is adding 44 security personnel at 8 stations to strengthen security and anticipate the increase in passenger mobility during the Independence Day celebrations on Monday (17/8), where these stations are located around tourist areas with potential increases in public activity. The LRT Jabodebek stations with additional security personnel are as follows:
