PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has apologised for a travel disruption on the LRT Jabodebek that occurred on Tuesday (28/7) at 19:11 Western Indonesia Time, on the track segment between TMII Station and Cawang Station. “KAI extends its apologies for the disruption to LRT Jabodebek services. Currently, the train has been evacuated to Harjamukti station for inspection and repairs by the technical team,” said Manager of Public Relations for LRT Jabodebek, Radhitya Mardika, when confirmed. The train set has now been towed to Harjamukti Station for examination. KAI confirmed that all passengers on the affected train set were evacuated safely in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures that prioritise user safety and security. LRT Jabodebek services returned to normal at 21:15 Western Indonesia Time. Regarding user reports of a considerably loud noise on train set TS 24, officers are currently conducting an inspection to identify the source of the sound. “Once again, we apologise for the disruption caused and will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of every operational disturbance as part of our efforts to maintain the reliability of the facilities and the safety of LRT Jabodebek travel,” concluded Radhitya.
