LRT Jabodebek Bekasi Line Disrupted, Here's the Culprit
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has apologised to all users for a travel disruption on the LRT Jabodebek service on Thursday (9/7/2026). The disruption involved train set SN68 (TS15) on the Dukuh Atas Bank Syariah Indonesia - Jatimulya route. The problem occurred on the track section between Cikunir 1 Station and Cikunir 2 Station at 10:32 WIB. Relevant officers immediately conducted an inspection and, as part of the handling procedure, carried out a towing process to push the TS15 train set to Cikunir 2 Station using TS04, allowing passengers to disembark at Cikunir 2 Station to change trains. Manager of Public Relations for LRT Jabodebek, Radhitya Mardika, conveyed an apology to all users affected by the travel disruption. ‘We apologise for the inconvenience experienced by users due to this disruption,’ he said when confirmed. ‘To maintain travel safety and security, officers immediately handled the situation according to operational procedures, including towing the TS15 train set to Cikunir 2 Station using the TS04 train set so that users could continue their journey with the next train. User safety remains the top priority in every handling process,’ he explained. Repairs have now been completed, and LRT Jabodebek operations have returned to normal while continuing to prioritise travel safety and security.
