Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Supervisory Board (BP BUMN) and COO of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, has summoned the management of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) to discuss developments and various public complaints regarding LRT City.

The meeting addressed issues affecting the public so that they receive attention and are promptly followed up. Adhi Karya was also encouraged to strengthen communication with residents and relevant stakeholders.

“All public complaints need to be followed up immediately. Communication with residents also needs to be strengthened, so that existing problems can be resolved promptly,” said Dony, quoting the official BP BUMN Instagram account, as cited on Thursday (13/8/2026).

According to him, the resolution of issues needs to be carried out quickly while maintaining good communication with residents.

LRT City is part of an integrated residential area development connected to mass transport infrastructure. As the area develops, addressing public aspirations and complaints is important so that the development can provide benefits and comfort for residents.

Dony added that Adhi Karya must ensure that area management is carried out responsibly. Development must not only be completed physically, but must also provide a sense of safety, comfort, and certainty for the public.

Previously, consumers of the LRT City project claimed to have suffered losses because the units they purchased had not been handed over. Consumers from various LRT City projects asked the government to assist with the full refund process.

Ajeng, a consumer of LRT City Tebet, said she had to bear pressure from the bank after stopping her instalment payments because the project had not been built.

“Since it has not been completed for so long, Sir, I finally decided to discontinue my payments. Because I saw that what was promised showed no progress at all. Even when I visited the site, construction had completely stopped,” said Ajeng.

Meanwhile, a consumer of LRT City Ciracas said he had been waiting for his unit since signing the Sale and Purchase Binding Agreement (PPJB) in 2019. To date, the promised unit has still not been received.

“I signed the PPJB in 2019 and until 2026, about 7 years now, I have not received my right to my unit. So the definite step is that we are requesting a full refund, Sir, for all the costs we have incurred,” he said.

Similarly, Adityo, a representative of LRT City Cibubur consumers, complained about the difficulty of communicating with ADCP and asked the Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas to assist with the refund process.
