Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) is preparing the process for paying deposit guarantee claims for customers of PT BPR Pembangunan Nagari by conducting customer data verification, following the revocation of its business licence (CIU) announced by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on Tuesday (31/3).

The revocation of the bank’s operations, located in Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency, West Sumatra, is stipulated in the Decision of the OJK Board of Commissioners Member No. KEP-28/D.03/2026 dated 31 March 2026.

“The series of payment processes will be carried out in compliance with applicable provisions and will continue to prioritise convenience for customers of BPR Pembangunan Nagari,” said Acting Director of the LPS Secretariat Group, Nur Budiantoro, in an official statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

LPS stated that the series of payment processes will be organised by prioritising the interests of depositors and adherence to procedures under applicable provisions.

The “3T” requirements for deposits guaranteed by LPS include: recorded in the bank’s books, interest rate not exceeding the LPS Guarantee Interest Rate (TBP); and not indicated or proven to have committed illegal acts that cause losses to the bank.

After the data verification process is completed, LPS will immediately announce the list of customers whose deposit status has been determined at the location of the Head Office of BPR Pembangunan Nagari.
