LPS disburses Rp3.66 billion in deposits to BPR Citra Bersada Abadi customers
The Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) has disbursed deposit insurance claims worth Rp3.65 billion belonging to customers of BPR Citra Bersada Abadi Bekasi, within five working days of the revocation of its business licence by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
Up to five working days after the rural bank was closed on 19 August 2026, LPS determined that 318 accounts belonging to 295 customers were classified as eligible deposits, with an accumulated nominal value of Rp3,655,535,634.
Director of the LPS Secretariat Group, Damaiyanti Sakti, said in a statement in Bandung on Monday that the acceleration of the fund disbursement was accompanied by prudence to ensure that all rights of customers who meet the legality requirements can be safeguarded.
“LPS is committed to providing fast, transparent and accountable service in the process of paying customer deposits. We ensure that every stage is carried out carefully so that the rights of customers who meet the provisions can be paid immediately in accordance with applicable regulations,” said Damaiyanti.
To process the claims, LPS has appointed Bank Mandiri KCP Jakarta Perumnas Klender on Jalan Teratai Putih Raya, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, as the paying bank.
Customers are required to bring the following documents when visiting the paying bank:
Original and photocopy of personal identification (KTP/driving licence/passport)
Original and photocopy of proof of deposit ownership (passbook/deposit certificate)
Original and photocopy of the articles of association and management structure (specifically for organisational/corporate customers)
Other supporting documents/data required by the paying bank
