LPS Chief Reveals Financial Paradox and the Importance of Digitally Literate Youth
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — CNBC Indonesia, together with the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), is organising Jogja Financial Festival 2026 on 22–23 May 2026, which will feature a financial festival, business talks, educational classes, a comedy live show, exhibitions, concerts and a career corner.
Anggito Abimanyu, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), said the Jogja Financial Festival (Finfest) 2026 in Yogyakarta, a city of education, a city of culture, and the birthplace of big ideas about Indonesia’s future, would be a platform for financial literacy and inclusion that is more progressive, open and down-to-earth.
Anggito said Jogja Financial Festival 2026 would serve as a platform for investment education and financial literacy, but also to build a financially mature younger generation in the face of rapid advances in digital technology in the AI era.
Indonesia must not allow technological development to outpace ethics, literacy, and the financial responsibilities of society.
