LPS appoints new officials, ready for reorganisation and the policy guarantee programme

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) on Wednesday swore in new officials to fill positions as executive director, group director, division head, and team head, as part of a move to reorganise ahead of the policy guarantee programme (PPP).

Chairman of the LPS Board of Commissioners Anggito Abimanyu, in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday, said the step is part of LPS’s efforts to remain a leading and trusted resolution entity for the community.

“This momentum is not merely a ceremonial change of officials; the financial services industry continues to face various challenges both domestically and globally. Therefore we will remain prepared and strengthen ourselves by swearing in new officials,” Anggito said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the LPS Board of Commissioners Farid Azhar Nasution added that the inauguration of new officials is a strategic move to anticipate the PPP programme that could apply faster.

“LPS is ensuring readiness to host the PPP if the policy is implemented in 2027, earlier than the 2028 timeline. Based on LPS’s experience with the deposit insurance programme, public trust in banking increases, and third-party funds also rise,” Farid said.

The new LPS officials sworn in today include Executive Director of Information Technology Monang Siringoringo, Group Director for Communications and Institutional Relations Nur Budiantoro, Group Director for Bank Data Management The Daniel, Group Director for Regulatory Affairs Lembaga Vitri Pascauli, Acting Group Director for General Services Haydin Haritzon, and Acting Group Director for Resolution and Investor Relations for Insurance Aroma Patria Perdana.

In the same ceremony, nine Division Heads and 25 Team Leaders were sworn in, including Acting Head of the Education, Public Relations, and Institutional Relations Division of KPW II Surabaya Bayu Permana Jati, Head of Supporting Legal Division Firman Kusbianto, Acting Head of Public Relations Division Rhein Valleno Oktoriansyah, and Acting Head of Logistics and Housekeeping Tri Hartanto.

Also, Acting Head of the Bank Resolution Implementation Division I Andreas Suryo Adhitama, Acting Head of the Liquidity Management and Settlements Division Nidya Rose Wahyuni, Acting Head of the Resolution Planning Management Division Steffanie Berlian Simatupang, Acting Head of the Policy Polis SCV Processing Division Achmad Rasyad Rangkuti, and Acting Head of Data Processing Hanna Mutia Agista.
