LPDP to Partner with Danantara, Preparing Job Opportunities

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) is exploring a partnership with BPI Danantara to strengthen the talent ecosystem and create job opportunities for its scholarship alumni.

LPDP Director Sudarto revealed that they are continuing discussions with various institutions, including Danantara and the banking industry, to place LPDP awardees in strategic sectors.

“With BPI Danantara, we are in ongoing discussions, but individually, we are also working with several banks,” said Sudarto during a media briefing on Thursday (26/2/2026).

According to him, most LPDP alumni are already working in various sectors, including major mining companies. However, LPDP sees the potential for further collaboration through a “pro-hire” scheme or direct recruitment of outstanding talents to support industry needs.

“In fact, many LPDP alumni are already working. They work in top mining companies, which could actually be done through a pro-hire scheme. This is what some banks are already doing in collaboration with us. We are currently discussing this,” he said.

Sudarto explained that they are currently holding further discussions regarding the next steps for scholarship recipients after completing their studies.

“That’s why we are talking about the ecosystem, which we continue to discuss, coordinate, and collaborate on with the industry, including with regions, so that this ecosystem can be built,” he emphasized.
