LPDP Opens 10 Scholarship Programmes for Second Phase of 2026

The government, through the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), has reopened registration for the second phase of its 2026 scholarship programme, offering at least 10 different schemes. Head of the LPDP Communication Sub-Division, Risqi Sita Novanti, stated that registration for the second phase opened on 30 June and is aimed at members of the public wishing to continue their education through various government-funded schemes. “Currently, LPDP is opening the second phase of LPDP scholarships. We are opening at least 10 scholarship programmes,” Risqi said during a discussion at the Jakarta Kreatif Festival on Sunday. Risqi explained that the programmes on offer cover a variety of recipient needs, including the Strategic Industrial STEM Scholarship, which is LPDP’s flagship programme, the SHARE (Social, Humanities, Art for People, Religious Studies, Education) Scholarship, and special partnership programmes. The government is also opening Accelerated Scholarships, Double Degree and Joint Degree Scholarships, LPDP Special Partnership Scholarships for male and female religious scholars, sports achievement awards, National Research and Innovation Talent scholarships, the Doctor by Research pathway, Specialist and Subspecialist Doctor Scholarships, Specialist Doctor Fellowships, and special ministry-specific scholarships. She noted that these various schemes are designed to ensure people from all backgrounds have the opportunity to continue their education in line with national development needs. The selection process will maintain its three stages: administrative selection, scholastic aptitude tests, and substantive selection. She encouraged interested members of the public to prepare the necessary requirements and follow official LPDP information regarding the registration mechanism. Risqi added that the government continues to refine the scholarship programme so that more Indonesian talent can access quality education, both domestically and abroad.
