LPDP Opens 10 Scholarship Programmes for Second Phase of 2026

The Indonesian government, through the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP), has reopened applications for the second phase of the 2026 LPDP Scholarship programme, providing at least 10 different scholarship tracks.

Risqi Sita Novanti, Head of the LPDP Communication Sub-Division, stated that the second phase of scholarship registration has been open since 30 June. The programme is aimed at citizens wishing to pursue further education through various funding schemes provided by the government.

“Currently, LPDP is opening scholarships for the second phase. We are offering at least 10 scholarship programmes,” Risqi said during a discussion at the Jakarta Kreatif Festival in Jakarta on Sunday.

Risqi explained that the available programmes cover various needs for scholarship recipients, ranging from the Strategic Industry STEM Scholarship, which is a flagship LPDP programme, to the SHARE Scholarship (Social, Humanities, Art for People, Religious Studies, Education), as well as special cooperation programmes.

Furthermore, the government is also offering Acceleration Scholarships, Double Degree and Joint Degree programmes, special LPDP cooperation scholarships for male and female religious scholars (ulama), awards for sporting achievements, National Research and Innovation Talent, the Doctor by Research track, Specialist and Sub-specialist Doctor Scholarships, Specialist Doctor Fellowships, and specific scholarships for various ministries.

She noted that these diverse schemes are prepared to ensure that individuals from various backgrounds can access opportunities to further their education in alignment with national development needs.

Regarding the selection process, LPDP continues to implement three stages: administrative selection, scholastic aptitude test, and substance selection.

“As for the schedule, the selection process remains the same with three stages. The first is administrative selection, followed by the scholastic aptitude test, and finally the substance selection,” she said.

She encouraged interested members of the public to immediately prepare their requirements and follow official LPDP information regarding the registration mechanism.

Risqi added that the government continues to refine the implementation of these scholarships so that more Indonesian talent can access quality education, both domestically and abroad.

“This is good news that we are promoting, so that parents can encourage their children to apply,” she concluded.
