The Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) has recorded the value of its managed endowment funds at Rp180.8 trillion. These funds include endowment funds for education, research, and culture.

LPDP Director Sudarto explained that these endowment funds cannot be spent but must be invested. This is because the endowment funds are permanent assets that must maintain their value.

“The endowment fund means that the principal and its investment returns can be used,” said Sudarto during a media briefing on Thursday (24/2/2026).

In detail, the allocation of LPDP’s endowment funds consists of Rp149.8 trillion for the Education Endowment Fund, Rp14.0 trillion for the Research Allocation Fund, Rp11.0 trillion for the Higher Education Allocation Fund, and Rp6.0 trillion for the Culture Allocation Fund.

Each allocation is used for development, quality improvement, and maintaining the competitiveness of the nation’s youth.

In its management, LPDP collaborates with various ministries and institutions, such as the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek), the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen), the Ministry of Culture, and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
