Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Revolving Fund Management Institution (LPDB) is relaunching its incubation programme this year to provide intensive support to cooperatives, particularly the Merah Putih Village/Urban Ward Cooperatives.

LPDB has announced 15 selected incubator institutions from various regions, which will serve as strategic partners to LPDB in assisting cooperatives to become more productive and adaptive.

LPDB Koperasi CEO Krisdianto stated in a press release in Jakarta on Friday that this incubation programme is a crucial part of transforming the cooperative financing approach, which is not only focused on fund disbursement but also on strengthening business capacity.

“We want to ensure that beneficiary cooperatives do not operate independently but receive comprehensive support from upstream to downstream,” Krisdianto said.

LPDB Koperasi Director General and Legal Affairs Deva Rachman added that the selection of incubator institutions was conducted rigorously, considering institutional capacity, mentoring experience, and readiness to support priority sectors.

“We ensure that the selected incubators have strong competencies and track records in business development,” he said.

The 2026 incubation programme will focus on sectors such as food, energy, agriculture, maritime, and community-based economic development. Support includes strengthening business management, access to financing, digitalisation, and market expansion.

LPDB Koperasi hopes that through this programme, cooperatives will truly emerge as engines of economic growth at the village level, while also supporting national priority programmes.

The 15 selected incubator institutions in the LPDB Koperasi 2026 incubation programme come from various regions in Indonesia.

From the eastern region, there is the Ottow Geissler University Papua Business Incubator Centre in Papua Province, Gampiri Interaksi Lestari in Central Sulawesi, and the Baji Tallasa Incubator in South Sulawesi.

Meanwhile, from Kalimantan, the selected institutions are PPIIBT Tanjungpura University in West Kalimantan and Wetland Box in South Kalimantan.

In western Indonesia, participation from incubators is also prominent. From Banten Province, there is Link Productive, while West Java is represented by Cubic Business Incubator, Garut Techno Park, BIG UNPAD, and the IKOPIN Business and Entrepreneurship Incubator Centre.

From Central Java, there is the LPPM Business Unit Incubator at Semarang State University, while DIY Yogyakarta is represented by Amikom Business Park Incubator.

From East Java, two incubators are strengthening the ecosystem, namely Cah Angon Business Incubator and LINK KITA. Meanwhile, from Bali, the Indonesian Hindu University Business Incubator is also part of this programme.
