LPDB Koperasi Partners with 12 KJPP to Strengthen Independent Asset Valuation
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Rolling Funds Management Institution (LPDB) Koperasi has partnered with 12 Public Valuation Offices (KJPP) in an effort to strengthen cooperative financing governance and independent asset valuation.
“This is not merely a procedural change, but a concrete step to ensure that state funds are managed professionally, accountably, and deliver sustainable benefits to cooperatives,” said LPDB Koperasi Chief Executive Krisdianto in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
Through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS), LPDB Koperasi has changed the mechanism for valuing collateral assets so that it is carried out more independently, objectively, and professionally as part of strengthening risk mitigation in the disbursement of revolving funds.
The policy marks an important transformation in LPDB Koperasi’s financing system.
Whereas asset appraisers were previously chosen directly by prospective cooperative partners, KJPP appointments are now made by LPDB Koperasi, so that the valuation process is more credible and free from potential conflicts of interest.
Valuation results will also be submitted directly to LPDB Koperasi as the basis for financing feasibility analysis.
In addition, LPDB Koperasi and all partner KJPPs signed an Integrity Pact as a joint commitment to realise a financing process that is honest, transparent, accountable, and free from Corruption, Collusion, and Nepotism (KKN).
Krisdianto stressed that the change in mechanism is part of the institution’s commitment to maintaining financing quality while increasing public trust in the management of revolving funds sourced from the state budget (APBN).
According to him, the aim of the cooperation is to improve services for prospective cooperative partners applying for loans from LPDB, including certainty of precise collateral appraisal values, a swift and measurable process, and freedom from illegal levies or the imposition of unreasonable charges that could harm cooperatives.
“For LPDB Koperasi, asset valuation is not just about determining the value of collateral. Independent valuation is the foundation of quality financing decisions, safeguards the sustainability of revolving funds, and strengthens public trust in the cooperative financing system. We want this cooperation to be a strategic collaboration that drives valuation professionalism standards ever higher in Indonesia,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Director of Business Development at LPDB Koperasi, Afif Thosin Roy Akhmad, explained that the cooperation is the result of an open national selection process conducted together with the Indonesian Valuation Profession Society (MAPPI) and the Association of Public Valuation Offices (IKJPP).
According to him, the selection process was designed to produce appraisal partners with integrity, competence, and adequate service coverage to support cooperative financing across Indonesia.
