LPDB Disburses Rp1.07 Trillion in Revolving Funds in First Half of 2026
The Revolving Fund Management Agency (LPDB) for Cooperatives has disbursed Rp1.07 trillion in revolving funds during the first semester of 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen financing access for cooperatives and productive businesses across various sectors. The realisation for the January-June 2026 period consists of Rp313.6 billion for savings and loan financing and Rp760.1 billion for the real sector.
LPDB Cooperatives President Director Krisdianto stated that the total revolving funds disbursed since the institution’s establishment in 2008 has now reached Rp22.4 trillion. In line with expanding financing, LPDB is also strengthening mentorship for agricultural cooperatives, including sugarcane farmer cooperatives, which the government is promoting to support national sugar industry independence.
Krisdianto noted that sugarcane farmer cooperatives play a strategic role in strengthening the people’s economy through agribusiness development. As such, LPDB acts not only as a financing provider but also as a strategic partner in strengthening cooperative institutions through business mentorship and management capacity building. ‘As a revolving fund management institution, LPDB Cooperatives is committed to supporting sugarcane sector cooperatives through accessible financing, business mentorship, and institutional capacity building so that cooperatives become more professional, productive, and competitive,’ Krisdianto said.
This commitment was demonstrated through a socialisation and technical guidance event on cooperative revolving funds, held in conjunction with the Sugarcane Farmers’ Forum in Semarang, Central Java. The forum, attended by around 100 participants from 50 sugarcane farmer cooperatives across Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta, and West Java, aimed to build more professional, productive, and competitive cooperatives.
At the event, Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono stated that LPDB, as a public service agency under the Ministry of Cooperatives, will continue to support the transformation of sugarcane farmer cooperatives through financing, incubation, mentorship, and governance strengthening. He added that the harvested sugarcane collected by the cooperatives will be absorbed by PT PG Rajawali I, a subsidiary of the state-owned food holding company ID FOOD, ensuring market and price certainty for farmers. The processed sugar is expected to be marketed through the Merah Putih Village Cooperative outlets (KDKMP).
