Lovina Festival 2026 Set for 24-29 July with Array of Events

The Buleleng Regency Government has confirmed that final preparations for the Lovina Festival 2026 are being completed ahead of its scheduled dates of 24 to 29 July. The festival, which is part of the Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN) 2026 agenda, will present a variety of sports, cultural, and entertainment attractions centred in the Lovina tourist area. The certainty of the event was discussed in a final meeting led by the Assistant for Economy and Development of the Buleleng Regional Secretariat and Chair of the Lovina Festival 2026 Committee, Putu Ayu Reika Nurhaeni, at the meeting room of the Culture and Tourism Office in Buleleng on Monday (20/7/2026). Reika stated that this was the final preparatory meeting and expressed gratitude to all parties involved, urging them to use the opportunity to ensure all preparations were thorough for a successful festival. Over the six-day event, visitors will be presented with a range of activities, including a mini sailboat competition, Lovina RUN, Cross Country, a sapi gerumbungan race, a Gemar Makan Ikan (Let’s Eat Fish) campaign, art and cultural performances, and modern music entertainment. To ensure the smooth running of all events, various regional apparatus organisations have been assigned tasks according to their respective fields. The Transportation Agency has prepared 10 parking areas in the festival zone with support from Kalibukbuk and Kaliasem villages to anticipate a surge in vehicles. Meanwhile, the Civil Service Police Unit, together with related agencies, will secure 14 strategic points, including screening and patrols during the festival. The Health Agency is preparing medical services, while the Fire and Rescue Agency has personnel on standby to anticipate emergencies. For cleanliness, the Environmental Agency has placed several temporary disposal sites and scheduled cleaning of the festival area three times a day. Micro, small, and medium enterprise participants have also been asked to manage waste at the source. A total of 82 MSMEs that will participate have undergone a curation process by the Trade, Industry, Cooperatives, and SMEs Agency to ensure their products meet quality standards. To support publicity, the Buleleng Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Agency has prepared documentation, media services, press conferences, mobile broadcasts, and live streaming so the public can follow the Lovina Festival 2026 series online. The Buleleng Regency Government hopes the Lovina Festival 2026 will increase tourist visits, stimulate the local economy, and strengthen Lovina’s image as a premier tourist destination in North Bali.
