Lost students rescued

MEDAN, North Sumatra: Workers rescued on Monday two students who got lost while climbing Mt. Sibayak, Antara reported yesterday.

Antara quoted an officer at the Tanah Karo police precinct as saying Rapuli Beru Siregar, 17, and Ronald Agustinus Tarigan, 15, had injuries on their heads, legs and arms after they fell into a 100-deep crevice.

The students, who were found unconscious, are currently being treated at Brastagi village health center. There's no information as to when the students started out or when they got lost. (swe)
