Lorry Breakdown Near Buperta Causes Heavy Traffic as Far Back as Cibubur Toll Exit

Congestion was reported near the Cibubur Toll Exit after a lorry broke down on the arterial road beyond the exit.

“Yes, there is congestion as a result of conditions outside the Cibubur Toll Road,” Jasa Marga officer Tami said when contacted on Wednesday (28 October 2026) at 8.10pm local time.

She said she did not yet know the lorry’s current condition. However, she confirmed that the queue had stretched back onto the Jagorawi Toll Road towards the Cibubur exit.

“The congestion is caused by a queue outside the toll road,” she said.

According to reports, a lorry had broken down on the Cibubur arterial road, also known as Jalan Alternatif Cibubur. The incident was said to have caused congestion extending for up to one kilometre before the Cibubur Toll Exit.

“From kilometre 12, traffic is already beginning to build up through to the exit at kilometre 13. It is congested because of the situation outside the Cibubur Toll Road,” she added.
