Look into my eyes

Look into my eyes

From Tiras

Jakartan criminals have a new method. They don't rob their
victims at knife point, but hypnotize them.

A woman was attending her shop when a man came in to buy a
pack of cigarettes. The man gave her a Rp 20,000 banknote. The
shopkeeper gave him Rp 60,000 in change without feeling something
was wrong. When the customer was out of sight, she realized she
had been deceived.

On another occasion, during Ramadhan, a mug bean porridge
peddler was robbed of Rp 600,000. A man ordered a cup of coffee
inside the stall. He spoke to the vendor in Sundanese and patted
the man's shoulder. The vendor then began obeying the hypnotist's
every command. He was told to get out of the stall. When he
returned the customer had taken all his money from the drawer and
fled.

Where do criminals learn this craft. To eradicate this type of
crime we must uproot its source.
