Long Weekend: Contraflow Implemented on Japek Toll from Km 47 to Dawuan Km 65

Traffic towards Cikampek from Jakarta is experiencing congestion at several points. The congestion is due to the increased volume of vehicles during the long holiday for the Ascension of Jesus Christ.

“The MBZ area at Km 44 is still busy but flowing, with density expected at the intersection from below and the flyover, around Km 48,” said Jasa Marga call centre officer Siti when contacted on Thursday (14/5/2026) at 10:05 WIB.

The density is occurring due to increased vehicle volume. “Vehicle volume,” she said.

Additionally, density is occurring on the Japek toll in Cibitung towards Cikarang Barat. Congestion is a result of an accident.

“At 10:01 WIB #Tol_Japek Cibitung KM 28 - Cikarang Barat KM 31 is DENSE, handling of a dump truck accident that overturned on the outer/ left shoulder,” Jasa Marga revealed on its X account.

Furthermore, traffic on the Japek toll is also dense on the stretch from Cikarang Pusat Km 40 to Karawang Barat Km 46. The density is due to an increase in vehicle volume.

“Karawang Barat KM 47 - Karawang Timur KM 51 DENSE,” it explained.
