The mudik situation at Gilimanuk Port, Jembrana, Bali, has finally normalised after long vehicle queues occurred over the past few days. The crossing port from Bali to Java returned to normal since Wednesday (18/3/2026) at 4:00 PM WITA.

“On Wednesday, 18 March 2026, at 4:00 PM WITA, the situation is safe,” said the Head of Public Relations Division (Kabid Humas) of Polda Bali, Kombes Arisandy, in a written statement to detikBali.

According to Arisandy, there are no longer any queues of private vehicles on the main route to Gilimanuk Port. All private vehicles have entered the cargo terminal buffer zone via channels 1, 2, and 3, proceeding directly to Gilimanuk Port.

“Within the Gilimanuk Port area, all parking spaces at movable bridge (MB) docks 1, 2, 3, 4, and landing craft mechanized (LCM) as well as the manoeuvre terminal parking have been fully occupied, dominated by private vehicles, while motorcycle queues are nil,” Arisandy explained.

Arisandy revealed that 40 ships are operating to serve the Gilimanuk-Ketapang crossing until 4:00 PM WITA. The breakdown includes six ships each at MB docks 1 and 2, seven at MB III, five at MB IV dock, and 16 at the LCM dock.

“Starting from 10:30 AM WITA, 30 out of the 40 ships implemented the arrival-unload-depart (TBB) pattern. Additional ships and TBB operations have resumed to accelerate the dispersal of queues at Gilimanuk Port,” Arisandy clarified.
