Long Lunar New Year Weekend: 150,000 Vehicles Enter Bandung City Via Toll Roads
Jakarta - The long Lunar New Year holiday has caused Bandung City to be flooded with tourists. A total of 150,624 vehicles from outside the area entered Bandung City via the Padaleunyi Toll Road.
Based on Jasamarga records up to Sunday (2/15/2026) at 2:00 PM WIB, 54,954 vehicles entered Bandung City via the Pasteur Toll Gate, with a breakdown of 39,954 vehicles up to Saturday (2/14) at 11:59 PM WIB, and 15,000 vehicles up to Sunday afternoon.
“The traffic transaction volume heading to Bandung City through the Pasteur Toll Gate recorded 39,954 vehicles, an increase of 6.07% compared to the normal traffic volume of 37,666 vehicles,” said Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division SGM Widiyatmiko Nursejati, as reported by detikJabar.
“Meanwhile, the traffic transaction volume at the Pasteur Toll Gate (outbound) leaving Bandung City recorded 33,750, an increase of 5.73% from the normal traffic volume of 31,920,” he added.
In addition to the Pasteur Toll Gate, increased vehicle volume also occurred at the Cileunyi Toll Gate. A total of 32,073 vehicles heading to Bandung from the Rancaekek, Garut, and surrounding areas were recorded passing through the Cileunyi Toll Gate, an increase of 4.79% from the normal volume of 30,607 vehicles.
Overall, 150,624 vehicles have so far passed through the Padaleunyi Toll Road heading to Bandung City during this Lunar New Year long weekend.
“A total of 150,624 vehicles, an increase of 8.55% compared to the normal traffic transaction volume of 138,766 vehicle transactions in the Bandung City area and surroundings via the Padaleunyi Toll Road,” he concluded.
