KCIC is urging the public to book Whoosh tickets promptly ahead of the long Easter holiday from 3 to 5 April 2026. KCIC Corporate Secretary General Manager Eva Chairunisa stated that high enthusiasm during the holiday period is expected to boost travel volume on the Jakarta-Bandung route. Therefore, early booking is necessary to ensure seat availability, especially on popular schedules.

“To support public travel needs, KCIC operates 62 Whoosh trips every day with departures every 30 minutes,” Eva said in a written statement in Jakarta on Friday (3/4/2026).

Eva explained that this operational pattern provides flexibility for passengers to choose travel times according to their needs. She noted that the long Easter holiday is a time when the public takes advantage to holiday and celebrate the religious occasion with family, making early travel planning important.

“To ensure travel comfort, we urge the public to immediately purchase Whoosh tickets online through various available official channels. With early booking, passengers can select their desired travel schedules before tickets for favourite times run out,” Eva added.

Eva stated that ticket bookings can be made through all official sales channels, namely the Whoosh app, the ticket.kcic.co.id website, and partner apps such as Access by KAI, Livin’ by Mandiri, BRImo, Wondr by BNI, Tiket.com, Traveloka, and Trip.com. Passengers can transact online up to 30 minutes before the departure schedule with various payment methods, from bank transfers, QRIS, e-wallets, to credit cards.

Specifically for passengers booking via the Whoosh app or ticket.kcic.co.id website, they will receive conveniences such as online rescheduling up to five minutes before departure, as well as submitting ticket cancellations online up to two hours before departure.

Eva explained that online booking continues to be the primary choice for Whoosh passengers. Based on KCIC internal data up to March 2026, around 84 percent of Whoosh tickets are sold through digital channels.

“Online transactions provide convenience for passengers to buy tickets anytime and anywhere, as well as securing seats before arriving at the station. During this long Easter holiday, we want the public to plan their travels better to remain safe, comfortable, and smooth with Whoosh,” Eva said.
