Lombok Barat's former LCC asset returns to the regency government after corruption case is final
Ex-LCC Mall Lombok City Center asset of 8.4 hectares in Desa Gerimax, Narmada District, Lombok Barat, officially returns to the ownership of the Lombok Barat Regency Government. The return of the asset was effected by Kejaksaan Negeri Mataram (Mataram State Prosecutor’s Office) after the corruption case involving the operational cooperation between PT Patut Patuh Patju (Tripat) and PT Bliss Pembangunan Sejahtera in 2016 reached final and binding status.
The Regent of Lombok Barat, Lalu Ahmad Zaini (LAZ), said that the government’s ownership of the asset applies only to the land, while the LCC buildings remain the property of PT Bliss Properti Indonesia.
‘So according to the ruling, the building belongs to PT Bliss, the land is handed over to Lombok Barat Regency,’ he said on Friday (22/5/2026).
LAZ emphasised that the Regency Government will soon summon PT Bliss Properti Indonesia to discuss the continued use of the land. In his view, all options remain open, including the possibility of a new partnership.
‘They are on top of the regency’s land, so what should we do with the building? We will ask them to rent it or something. The bottom line is we will summon them,’ he asserted.
He judged that the former LCC area has strategic value, so its use should be discussed carefully. However, LAZ also opened the possibility of using the land for other purposes if no agreement is reached with the company.
‘What is clear, if I may say, in about three months we want to use the land, please relocate the building. It is finished, right?’ he said.
Previously, the LCC asset in Desa Gerimax, Narmada District, Lombok Barat was seized as the object of a corruption case. The case originated from the operational cooperation (KSO) between the Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) PT Patut Patuh Patju (Tripat) and PT Bliss Pembangunan Sejahtera, a subsidiary of Lippo Group, related to the development of the LCC on land owned by the Lombok Barat Regency.
In the KSO agreement, 4.8 hectares of land were used as collateral by PT Bliss to PT Bank Sinarmas in 2013 for a loan of Rp 264 billion. However, the loan had no clear repayment deadline and became non-performing. As a result, the state was estimated to suffer losses of more than Rp 39 billion.
The case has reached final status with three defendants: former President Director of PT Tripat Lalu Azril Sopandi, former Director of PT Bliss Pembangunan Sejahtera Isabel Tanihaha, and former Regent of Lombok Barat Zaini Arony.
