Logistics Business Booms, Chandra Daya (CDIA) Revenue Grows Double Digits

PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDIA) recorded net revenue of US$82.1 million in the first half of 2026, a 22.8% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth was primarily driven by a surge in the logistics business. Gross profit rose 2.8% to US$19.6 million, while EBITDA increased 25.3% to US$31.6 million, with the EBITDA margin improving to 38.5% from 37.7%. Net profit after tax stood at US$19.3 million. Total assets grew 10.9% to US$1.93 billion, against total liabilities of US$826.3 million and equity of US$1.11 billion.

The logistics segment saw revenue jump 80.2% year-on-year to US$27 million. CDIA achieved milestones with the maiden voyage and berthing of Novah, a 9,000 DWT liquid chemical logistics vessel built with Usuki Shipyard, and commenced operations of Boreas, a similar 9,000 DWT vessel built with Fukuoka Shipbuilding Co Ltd, designed for domestic and international routes. The company also invested US$90 million for a 40% stake in PT Armada Maritim Persada to expand into mining logistics and port management, and US$15.5 million for a 49% stake in Petrosea Services Solutions Pte Ltd to diversify its cargo base and customer portfolio.

In port and storage, PT SCG Barito Logistics signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera to develop ISO tank, dry container storage, and lift-on/lift-off services at Krakatau International Port. Construction of a bitumen storage facility in Merak by PT Redeco Petrolin Utama reached 75% completion, with operations targeted for the third quarter of 2026. In the energy pillar, subsidiary PT Chandra Waste Energy and its consortium partners were appointed to conduct a feasibility study for the Danantara waste-to-energy power plant project in Serang.
