Locomotive disruption at Senen Station, KAI: Most trains have departed again
According to KAI records, by 12:00 WIB, most long-distance train departures from Pasar Senen Station had resumed, though some services remained delayed. Franoto Wibowo, Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, apologised for the inconvenience and said operations were gradually returning to normal and most trains had resumed departures. He added that staff were continuing to handle and normalise operations to bring rail services back to normal. He noted there were no passengers on the two trains involved in the operational disruption, and therefore no casualties. Earlier, several long-distance services experienced delays. The following departures from Pasarsenen were observed by 12:00 WIB: 1. PLB 74B Fajar Utama Solo, Pasarsenen-Solo Balapan, departed at 05:40 WIB on time. 2. PLB 114B Sawunggalih Pasarsenen-Kutoarjo departed at 06:30 WIB on time. 3. PLB 178B Tawangjaya Premium Pasarsenen-Semarang Tawang departed at 06:45 WIB on time. 4. PLB 110B Fajar Utama Yogyakarta Pasarsenen-Yogyakarta departed at 07:35 WIB on time. 5. PLB 106B Gajahwong Pasarsenen-Lempuyangan departed at 07:55 WIB on time. 6. KA 166 Dharmawangsa Pasarsenen-Surabaya Pasarturi departed at 08:10 WIB on time. 7. KA 282 Bengawan Pasarsenen-Purwosari departed at 09:20 WIB with a 25-minute delay. 8. KA 272 Airlangga Pasarsenen-Surabaya Pasarturi departed at 11:38 WIB with a 143-minute delay. 9. KA 284 Serayu Pagi Pasarsenen-Kiaracondong was scheduled to depart at 09:30 WIB and is now expected to depart at 13:30 WIB. As of now, the service awaiting departure is KA Serayu Pagi Pasarsenen-Kiaracondong. KAI Daop 1 Jakarta confirms that all services will depart once operational conditions are declared safe. KAI Daop 1 Jakarta also continues to provide services to affected passengers, including regular journey information and service recovery in accordance with applicable regulations.
