Locations of Mobile Driving Permit Centres in Jakarta on Wednesday

Jakarta — The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of Jakarta Metro Police provides mobile Driving Permit (SIM) renewal services across four Jakarta regions on Wednesday to assist residents seeking to extend the validity of their legal driving authorisation.

Through its official X account @tmcpoldametro, Jakarta Metro Police announced that the service operates from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB at the following locations:

East Jakarta: Front lobby of Grand Cakung Mall

West Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok and South lobby of Ciputra Mall

South Jakarta: Parking area beside Trilogi University

Central Jakarta: Parking area of Lapangan Banteng Post Office

The mobile SIM centres only service renewals for valid driving permits for specific classes: Class A and Class C driving permits. Should the driving permit’s validity have expired, the owner must apply for a new SIM at a location designated by the police.

Regarding renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 76 of 2020 concerning the Type and Tariff of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the National Police, the fee is Rp80,000 for Class A and Rp75,000 for Class C.

In addition to these fees, applicants must also pay supplementary charges for psychological testing and health examination through the Simpel Pol application.
