Locations for Mobile SIM Services in Jakarta on Wednesday

The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the Metro Jaya Police is providing mobile driver’s licence (SIM) services at several locations in Jakarta on Wednesday for members of the public wishing to renew the validity period of this essential legal driving document. According to the official X account @tmcpoldametro, the services will operate from 08:00 to 14:00 WIB at the following locations: In East Jakarta: Lobby in front of Grand Cakung Mall, Jalan Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX, Ujung Menteng. In South Jakarta: Parking area beside Universitas Trilogi, Jalan Duren Tiga Timur RT 06/04, Pancoran, Duren Tiga. In West Jakarta: South Lobby of Ciputra Mall, Jalan Letjen S Parman RT 11/01, Tanjung Duren Utara, Grogol Petamburan; and Main Lobby of LTC Glodok, Jalan Hayam Wuruk No. 127, Mangga Besar, Taman Sari. In Central Jakarta: Parking area of Kantor Pos Lapangan Banteng, Jalan Lapangan Banteng Timur Nomor 1, Pasar Baru, Sawah Besar. The mobile SIM kios will only handle renewals for still-valid SIMs in specific categories, namely SIM A and SIM C. If the validity period of the SIM has expired, the owner must apply for a new SIM at the SIM Satpas Daan Mogot in West Jakarta. If the validity period of the SIM has expired, the owner must submit an application for a new SIM at the location designated by the police. Regarding renewal fees, in accordance with Government Regulation (PP) Number 76 of 2020 on Types and Tariffs for Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the National Police, the fee is Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C. In addition to these fees, applicants must also pay additional costs for psychological tests and health tests through the Simpel Pol application.
