Locations for Mobile Driving Licence Services on Monday

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Traffic Directorate (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya is opening its mobile Driving Licence (SIM) service at five locations in Jakarta on Monday for members of the public wishing to extend the validity of the legal driving requirement.

Polda Metro Jaya, via its X account @tmcpoldametro, said the mobile SIM outlets would operate from 08.00 to 14.00 WIB at the following locations:

East Jakarta: Front lobby of Grand Cakung Mall

North Jakarta: Main lobby of LTC Glodok

South Jakarta: Side parking area of Trilogi University

West Jakarta: South lobby of Ciputra Mall

Central Jakarta: Parking area of the Lapangan Banteng Post Office

The mobile SIM outlets only serve extensions of licences that remain valid for certain classes, namely SIM A and SIM C. If the licence has already expired, the holder must apply for a new licence at a location designated by the police.

Regarding renewal fees, under Government Regulation Number 76 of 2020 on the Types and Tariffs of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) applicable to the Indonesian National Police, the fee is Rp80,000 for SIM A and Rp75,000 for SIM C.

In addition to these fees, applicants must also pay other supplementary charges for psychological and health tests through the Simpel Pol application.
