Local One-Way System in Effect from KM 414 GT Kalikangkung to KM 442 GT Bawen

SEMARANG - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is implementing traffic engineering in the form of a local one-way system at the discretion of the police on the Batang-Semarang toll road up to the Semarang-Solo toll road, on Wednesday (18/3/2026) at 16:35 WIB.

The implementation of this local one-way system is intended to anticipate the increase in vehicle volume during this year’s Eid al-Fitr homecoming period.

The local one-way system is applied from KM 414 Toll Gate (GT) Kalikangkung to KM 442 GT Bawen. It is hoped that vehicles heading towards Bawen, Solo, and Surabaya can flow more smoothly during the homecoming period.

“The implementation of this local one-way system is a strategic step in reducing traffic density occurring on the main homecoming routes to the Central Java and East Java regions,” said Ria in an official statement on Wednesday (18/3/2026).

All road users are urged to comply with traffic signs and instructions from officers on the ground. Ensure the vehicle is in prime condition and plan the journey well.

Road users are also encouraged to utilise rest areas wisely and rest if feeling tired to ensure the journey remains safe and comfortable until the destination.
