Local Government Evaluation: Gianyar Secures 7th Best National Ranking

The Gianyar Regency Government (Pemkab Gianyar) has secured the seventh national ranking based on the 2025 Evaluation of Local Government Performance (EPPD) against the 2024 Local Government Performance Report (LPPD). Through this achievement, Pemkab Gianyar is now focusing on enhancing the quality of public services.

“This achievement is a manifestation of our commitment to improving the quality of governance, public services, and sustainable development in Gianyar Regency,” said Regent of Gianyar, I Made Agus Mahayastra, in his statement on Monday (27/4/2026).

Mahayastra stated that this achievement serves as motivation to improve government performance. Innovations in public services will continue to be enhanced by realising effective, accountable governance oriented towards public services.

“This achievement is a driver to continue innovating and providing the best services to the community,” explained Mahayastra.

The scores and performance status of local government performance refer to the assessment results for all local governments in Indonesia. The results designate five provincial governments, 15 regency governments, and 10 city governments with the highest scores and performance status nationally. Pemkab Gianyar is among the regencies with the seventh best performance, with a score of 3.5537 out of 415 regencies nationwide.

“This achievement also strengthens Gianyar’s position as one of the regions with the best performance in Indonesia,” clarified Mahayastra.
